ivy or not ivy that is the question

Im new to gardening so just started herb garden and instead of thyme this started growing but am not sure what it is, thanks for any help

    It might be fat hen (a weed) - the stuff gets everywhere around here.  The good news is that it is edible.  The leaves do look a bit too shiny though, so not 100% sure.  See this photo:

    I don't think it's fat hen but something in that family seems likely

    Fat Hen has a cultivated relative called Good King Henry that was once a popular vegetable, I never seen it myself but could be a possibility.

    I think its that strawberry spinach stuff, could be wrong, eyes arent working properly yet! image

    Can't see it terribly well but it reminds me a bit of a young thorn-apple plant - often growing from spillage from bird seed - not certain about that but there are similarities - we'd have to wait for a flower to be certain. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
