ivy or not ivy that is the question

    It might be fat hen (a weed) - the stuff gets everywhere around here.  The good news is that it is edible.  The leaves do look a bit too shiny though, so not 100% sure.  See this photo:

    I don't think it's fat hen but something in that family seems likely

    Fat Hen has a cultivated relative called Good King Henry that was once a popular vegetable, I never seen it myself but could be a possibility.

    Can't see it terribly well but it reminds me a bit of a young thorn-apple plant - often growing from spillage from bird seed - not certain about that but there are similarities - we'd have to wait for a flower to be certain.
