Good morning everyone, looks like its gonna be another scorcher!

    Is that Mexican fleabane? Did it spread like that or did you put in many plants? Just curious as I bought a sale one a few months back.

    My front garden is a terrible mess of piled up slabs and stamped on alliums and achillea as I had some workmen in recently. I've been trying to fix it but everything is either baked into the clay or has a fainting fit once movedimage

    Dam those builders!!! image It is Erigeron and I think it was 5 I brought about 3 or 4 years ago and really doesn't need any looking after once established image

    I just cut right back to nothing early in the year after the winter and then it bushes all out again throughoutspring and summer. It has self seeded really pretty in my neighbours front steps too image

    PIE have brought further ones for out the back but they are not so good image My back is north facing so guess they are proper sun worshipers

    Can you not put all your plants in buckets of water and in shady spot till you are ready to plant again?

    A white flowered echinops and a lavender covered in bees. And blue blue agapanthus.

    Sounds perfect garden maiden, when do we get a pic?image I have lavender other side of my fence and that is massive this year and like yours bees loving it

    I did dig up alot of plants and leave them in trugs of water but the alliums had to stay of course and the achillea was too tangly.

    I've put most of them back in the ground now in a temporary strip of the front garden while I tinker with the rest, probably it'll have to wait til the back end though or I'll lose all my insect flowers.

    I'll keep everything crossed For you that they all survive, I'm sure they will as sounds like youre doing  everything possible you can for them image

    That's nice of you Beaus Mum! It's a little spindle tree that's taking it the worse. I don't know if it's had too much water, not enough or exactly the right amount but it looks like it wants to throw upimage

    I'll try this afternoon, its in shade at the moment. The front garden starts to get some sun from around 1.30.

    I was following a thread of someone else who had moved a small tree at the same time and the advice was to cut the branches back by half which I have done. Just waiting now for its leaves to drop or for new shootsimage
