clivia/ kaffir lilly

I just acquired a clivia that has already bloomed for this season.  It has 5 shoots/bulbs/rhizomes and is planted in an 8 inch gallon plastic pot.  I had visions of putting it into a new carefully chosen ceramic pot, but am told the roots are very sensitive and don't like to be "messed with."  So, should I even try to repot it or divide it, or should I just let it be for at least another growing season?

Repot and split when the roots fill the pot.  make sure each section has a" nose " or growing point.

And keep it out of the sun, the leaves scorch easily.

Mine has been in the same large pot for years; I'm told they like to be confined.
