Creeping ground-cver

TantyTanty Posts: 59

Hi - Am hoping for a wee bit of advice, please.

I have a couple of muddy paths around an outbuilding and I'd like to plant something very low and mat-forming that doesn't mind being walked on occasionally.

The paths are both mostly in the shade, one slightly moreso than the other.  Any ideas?

Thanks!

How often, realistically will they be walked on? The obvious answer would be grass, which would have to be mowed but you MAY get away with camomileimage

Or helxine, if it can't spread into small plants close by. I'd go for grass first though

Thanks so much for the suggestions, but trying to avoid grass and mowing!  Want something nice like creeping thyme or scotch moss, but happy in shade, really.
