I received the one dated 28th, about no luck, folks on holiday... I did reply.... Have you sent one since?? image

Sorry TM, I thought I did send you one back, but apparently I didn't press the send button image Must be an early senior moment.

But be assured that it doesn't harm the tree at all, only if you think it's ugly, or if you want normal looking leaves, then you'll need to remove everything abnormal to a normal looking shoot. If it's a whole branch with leaves looking like that, take it out completely. And Summer is a good time to do it. Wounds heal quicker now.

Hope that's what you wanted to know. And I will report back if I receive a reaction on the other forums.

To be honest, I'm torn... the thing looks so pretty, with "two different kinds of leaves" on one plant - what a novelty! I think I may just leave them, '(leave' them, Hah! geddit?? image Oh, never mind... image image ) and see what happens, over winter/come flowering time.... Should happen either next year or the year after..... Thank you so much for your interest and help, Flowerchild! Really kind of you!

Hehehe TM, yep I geddit! image  It remains a 'fascinating' subject, doesn't it ((geddit too? image) Is this when you write "no pun intended"???))

You're  welcome, I loved to help you TM. I'm curious though, whatever dìd happen at the RHS? Sorry if I'm too nosey, just say so if you think I am...image

  • No, not at all. In the interests of diplomacy I will send you a PM! image
