Successful Lawn Feed Anyone?

Can anyone recommend a good liquid or granular lawn fertiliser please? I noticed in 'around the garden' that I should be doing this round about now . I have used various brands over the years and haven't a particular favourite. I was curious what success stories others may have on the matter.

I bought some Scotts Lawn Builder feed last year and it worked well for me with good results
It all depends on what state your lawn is in . Have you got many weeds , whats the drainage like and is the grass sparse ?
I have over the past few years used Wilkinsons own brand -which is probably made by someone else-works for me
I find that the one based on chicken manure works extremely well.
Therer are many lawn feeds on the market as you probably already know yourself. I woud go for one high in nitrogen, which will green up your lawn perfectly. "Miracle-Gro water soluable lawn food" is one that I have been using and found it to be very easy to use - and have had great results. What I also use is "Westland AFTER CUT". This is very good and can be applied straight away after cutting - (Granular). Doesnt need to watered in, and it does not scorch the grass...
Also think about Lawn sand which helps with the removal of weeds, moss etc and also improves drainage. This is also high in nitrogen.
Best of luck!
