Small begonias

A month ago I bought a tray of begonia plants and planted them in a container, they are still the same size. I have looked at one and the roots are still in a cube. How can I help my plants?

You could try teasing out the roots at the base a little, but it may just be that the weather has been so lousy that they haven't grown for that reason.
