I am thinking about buying some plants from a company called Crocus.
After buying some plants previously from Hayloft, which were dead on arrival (the company were also terrible at any form of replacement), I am therefore really wary of buying plants online.
Does anyone know if Crocus do any better? They seem a reasonable outfit and some of their inspiration ideas have given me a few ideas this evening.
Hi Nitram. There is a thread on the forum called the good guys. If you look it up on the search function I am pretty sure Crocus is recommended. Apologies but can't seem to copy the link.
I have seen lots of postings on here saying that Crocus are a very good company to deal with. Just wait a while and you get lots of information about them popping up on here.
I've ordered from crocus many times and will again
To be fair though I order alot from hayloft as well and although sometimes the plants are late (my verbena collection) or cancelled (leonotis nepetifolia) they have always kept me informed or compensated me. I'd use hayloft more if you could buy things in 1's...
But yes, check out the good guys thread like suggested above because otherwise it's the same old companies come up at the top of google but there are loads of online nurseries
Hi folks, Id quite like to take a look at the thread 'good guys' but I can't find the search function can anyone help!
Its at the top of the site to the left of the logout button. I think Verdun started off the thread from memory.
http://www.gardenersworld.com/forum/talkback/the-good-guys/175670.html appears to be the thread
I've bumped the thread so should be near the top of the page
Excellent company - fast delivery and well rooted plants. You cant go wrong with Crocus.
