why are the leaves turning yellow and rust colour and now have started falling off , until two weeks ago it was putting on new growth and was looking good ?

In a pot? Any chance it could have dried out? They really prefer being in the ground, with some moisture around. J.
They're in a pot, as we only have a courtyard garden. Plus with the amount of rain recently they've been almost drowned, Im really at a loss as to what else I can do to save them.
Any suggestions . . . . . . .
