Acre ? Wilting

The tree was planted 5 years ago. No problems until this year .As far as I can remember , the leaves looked fine when the tree came to life , but then began to look very limp and are curled up. They have reminded soft, are not at all dry and brittle. I would hate to loose the tree as it was a "significant" birthday present. Can anyone offer any help or cures. Many thanks

    I'd suggest that you check the pot (if it's in one) for vine weevil and/or waterlogging.
