is this a Hebe?

Can anyone help identify this, is it a Hebe, if so what type?

    I would have said Callistemon...

    Callistemon  probably citrinus which is fairly hardy here. also known as the bottle brush plant for obvious reasons.

    It comes from Australia, Hebes come from New Zealand.

    Thank you so much, looks like Callistemon citrinus Splendens, it was in my friends garden and I couldn't name it!
