Catananche - how to propagate?

Hi I bought a lovely Catananche which is thriving in my clay bog garden, and would like to replicate it....I saw this is a good time of ear for doing cuttings, but didn't know if this was one of the plants you could take cuttings from, or whether I should wait until it sets seed? Any thoughts gratefully received.....

They are a short lived perennial, but can be propagated in several ways, You can split up a clump in spring, You can take root cuttings in winter, or collect and sow your own seeds as soon as they are ready.
