They're very obvious once they have two true leaves .If you get rid of the ones that are obviously not the eschsholzia, then you might have a fighting chance of identifying the real ones.

Hi Bluebaron. These are my Californian poppies rescued from collapsing greenhouse. I sowed them very late into pots instead of the ground so these are about 4 weeks. I'm assuming yours should look like these.

Well i pulled the lot up and didn't spot one guess hey got eaten or smothered.
When did you sow them?
That's a long time, they may well have gone under but you may get some later germinators or sow some more
