Are you asking if it's Ok to water the veg with water from the pond?

    Wouldn't that empty the pond?

Thats what they used to do in the old days, the water i soft, in the same way as out of a water butt and may have a few nutrients, not really needed these days ss most of us have water butts and feed is pretty cheap, wont hurt the plants, will empty your pond image
  • yes but will it heart them

  • i have 4, 100 liters butts and 1, 190 liters butts but all of them are empty

Do you mean make them healthier? Its possible there are beneficial things in there, its possible there are nasties too, why not try it on a few plants first? See what you mean now- like having soil in " good heart" image

The organic gardening catalogue sell a "probiotic" for plants, might be what you are after image

Hello William, I use the dirty water from my aquarium when I do a water change. All the 'muck' that comes out of the filter system seems to do my plants no harm at all image

I save our bath water, bale it out of the window into dustbins. We do live in a bungalow though!
