Thank you - and I am taking note of these ID's so I won't be asking the same next yearimage

Pic 3 looks like a penstemon, but I'm very new to this identifying game so I might be wrong image

That was quick! I do have penstemons in that area - I'll go and compareimage

Vic I'm not good at this but 1st might be a cornflower. I know the 3rd one but brain dead soz. I will think. image

You could be! I have one looks very similar and same size but doesn't have serrated leaves...do you think the flower head looks right for a penstemon?

I am withdrawing my suggestion Victoria image Didn't realise flower head shot went with pic 3. Penstemon has bell like flowers. Soz.

Looks like I need to do more work on plant ids image

I'm not sure about 1 Kef - I'm unfamiliar with cornflowers at best. It's not the wild floppy blue sort as I've just been out and compared.

Panda, if anyone needs to work on plant ID it's me since I planted the d#mn things...image

This is flower head of 1:

    1. either coreopsis or gallardia both have very similar foliage.

Best wait till they flower actually they will be in bloom soon.

The third one looks like obedient plant, the first one could still be a cornflower, but the perennial type, not sure, sorry image

You are right Dave- just didn't want to miss the offer this weekend. It's online too so images aren't best for comparing foliage.

You could also be correct Rebecca- I do have obedient plant - I thought I'd moved it elsewhere but I do get things mixed up...image

    Thank you all thoughimage
