Hanging baskets

I am fairly new to gardening and was wondering if any one can tell me how many impatiens summer waterfall plants should be planted in an eight inch basket to give a nice display, last year my baskets looked a bit pathetic because i didnt plant enough plants in them and they didnt seem to bush out.

    You don't need many in a basket that size, but you do need to feed and water well. Were you feeding a minimum of weekly with tomato fertilizer and watering regularly?

    Thanks for the reply Alina! Thats probably where I went wrong I was only feeding them every month or so last year so will feed weekly from now on.

    You can use a granular season-long feed if you are forgetful about feeding-works for meimage
