Identifying Help!

in Plants
Hi all. I am new here and would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me to identify this plant pictured below. My sister and I uncovered it in her yard and we would like to know what it is so that we can research how to take cuttings from it in order to place it in more locations of her yard and then also into mine when I move. I have tried Google image search but nothing like it came up in the results and we hit a dead end. Would love to know as it is so beautiful! Many thanks in advance!

Don't know but it is a lovely colour. I imagine it is a native to South Africa, but maybe someone will know
A houseplant grower is needed
it looks like Draceana,house plant
not sure about spelling
It really is so lovely! My sister needs a very low maintenance yard and since this fellow managed to survive all on his own under a mass of overgrown plants and weeds, I think it would be a great one to spread around her yard for easy beauty
And of course I will need to "steal" some cuttings for when I restart the yard at my house next month
GraveAngel - I'm on another forum which has some members who live in South Africa and who enjoy gardening - I'll show the picture to them and see if they recognise it, if that's ok?
@Chrissy the Gardener: Thank you... I am looking through the varieties of Dracaena and there are definite resemblances. I just can't seem to find any in those particular colours. I will keep hunting though!
@Dovefromabove: Thank you! That would be a great help. This one is driving me nuts!
I think I may have found it, if anyone is interested in knowing! I believe it is the Cordyline fruticosa (also known as the Ti plant). It is from Asia and parts of Polynesia and is believed to ward off evil spirits
Am I allowed to post links on here?
Yes links are fine (as long as you're not advertising your own business - which you're not
)

This looks like a giant version so I think ours may be a baby still
Wow, well I think it deserves some tlc so it can grow up to be big and beautiful. It does make you wonder how it grows - where's the chlorophyll?
No one's come back to me yet - I think they're all cooking their Sunday lunches - that's the thing with a Foodie Board - so many of them are either cooking or eating
