Grapes.
in Fruit & veg
Hi All,
I picked up a nice grape the other day and it is laden with fruit. They are very small at the moment and it is in a pot.
Would it be OK to plant it now while there is fruit on it or should I wait and leave it in the pot until the fruiting has finished? It is in my greenhouse at the moment.
Thanks
James

Hi James..I'm interested in the answers. Sorry can't help you there.
Can you tell me what type is it. I'm interested in growing an outdoor one too.
Off the top of my head I cant remember but I will post it when I get home from work.
I'm interested in the answer too, I've got one waiting to go up the allotment. The name tag is at the allotment whereas the plant is still at home
im pretty sure it begins either with B or M but knowing me, it probably something completely different lol.
It's red grapes and it's a French name, I got it in b&q a couple of weeks ago
Mine is marechal foch. It's being planted this afternoon
Please see my reply to the other current thread on grapes:

It was planted yesterday and looked loads happier within about half an hour
I will keep an eye on it though
