Hi. Not long had an allotment and other than tomatos complete newbies to veg and fruit growing. We dug this big root thingy up and decided to plant it to see what came up but don't have a clue! Any ideas please?

It is possibly horseradish, but we need a bigger picture to be able to identify it properly! Scratch a bit of the root and sniff it - you will be able to smell it if it is horseradish!
