lilly bulbs in containers

I have had some lilly in containers, for 5 years, i want remove them clean the containers, and change the soil,what is the best time to do this, now or spring before they start to grow

    If they have died back completely then it is safe to do it now-personally I would wait till January/February.

    yes i agree as im going to take mine out of pots then and replant them and maybe spread them out a bit
