Pruning/deadheading lavendar stoechas papillon

I have some fairly new lavendar papillon, some of the flowers have gone browny and very dry like they have died. Am I supposed to cut off the dead ones for more to grow In their place? Am I supposed to dead head them straight away? Thank you

Lavender is normally trimmed after flowering. Just cut off the dead flowers stems and all and just trim the new growth lightly. Whatever you do don't cut into old wood. The trimming encourages new shoots and a bushier plant.
