I have four half fushia baskets with three plants in each on a south faceing wall they are not new plants,I have fed them once this year and they have had a tonic. there is loads of growth but no buds just like last year.Can someone please tell me why

Because you have kept feeding them!.
You have produced a large green plant, stop feeding until the buds appear.
For something to flower well it needs to think it may die, ie no food, it will then send out loads of buds in order to save its species. Feed once the flowers appear.
