I put all my house plants outside during the summer-the only thing against putting a swiss-cheese plant outside might be wind/weather damage and Mr&Mrs Slug and family will think all their Christmases have come at once and it might end up with more holes than-well- a swiss-cheese.Scatter some slug pellets to be safe
One word of caution-if you are going to do it might sure it can't blow over
Don't like to disagree with you, Geoff, but I wouldn't put a Swiss Cheese plant out for the reasons you've listed - it gets torn very easily, and leaves don't recover.
.... indeed, that's how I lost a huge one a few years ago. There are some things that don't need or enjoy an outside the house time, and for me, this is one of them.
