Wisteria

image

As mentioned in another thread I am lucky enough to be about to take ownership of a house with an extremely beautiful and established garden. There is also Wisteria all over one side of the house - so.....how do I look after if and a)not kill it and b) keep it flowering each year and c) avoid any beginners mistakes that have dire consequences for the plant!

Does it need pruning - if so when - or fertilising - again - when?

Any tips are appreciated - I don't want to let the side down and be the one who does badly in the garden!

Try this link to the RHS for pruning advice and care. They take a bit of doing but they are worth it as the show they put on is worth all the effort.
