This fantastic pink flowering plant was growing on lots of walls when I visited the west coast of Scotland last week. Fantastic contrast with the wall and ferns. Does anyone know what it is, never seen it before.
They're quite easy to find Cardoon - most GCs and nurseries will have them at this time of year and you can make a display quite easily in a container too. There are lots of nurseries which specialise as well.. We had tons of those ferns in the terrace walls at my last house. They loved the conditions.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
