Clematis wilt?

in Plants
As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I am a gardening novice. Can u tell me whether these plants are suffering from clematis wilt or am I just being overly cautious? These were ordered online and came like this.

They look fine to me but desperately in need of a good drink and a feed and then planting in a well prepared hole with a support to cling to.
See this thread for planting advice - http://www.gardenersworld.com/forum/plants/planting-clematis/347298.html
I gave them a drink yesterday when I got them and watered them loads late this morning. About 30 minutes ago I planted them per the in the instructions in that thread (which, incidentally, I bookmarked days ago lol). I gave them a really good drink right after planting. Hopefully they pick up.
Should I be feeding them at this point? If so, I have some tomato feed to hand.
I think a good, regular feed will help them get started. It can sometimes take a year or so before they really get going as they can be busy extending their root system before they get going with top growth.
How often/how much should I feed them at this point? I dont want to harm them by overfeeding whilst they're settling in.
