hi can anyone give some suggestions, the leaves have started to get brown spots on my early pots, is it blight, or maybe a deficiency , first time growing in a bag, so any advice would be great
There is a form of early blight which produces dark angular spots on the leaves of spuds, it's not serious and rarely impacts on the crop.
Unrelated, late blight starts as large yellow spots, and this is usually after a long humid period, so no worries on that front.
Spuds thrive off a regular feed of seaweed feed or a tomato feed.
thanks zoomer44 I gave them a tomoato feed so hopefully they will be ok
My first earlies on the allotment are just coming into flower, can't wait to dig them up.
Hope you have a good crop, let us know how you fair...
