  • Could I just add to this and recommend a  DVD of a series of half hour programs made by the BBC in 1987 called 'The Victorian Kitchen Garden'?......Absolutely compulsive viewing!

Now we've just got to set a date for the trip. A middle of the week in mid June ok for everyone? Let me know by pm days you can't do. Hemerocallis should be out by then. Mine are just budding up.

Anyone got a, long range weather  forecast? We don't want a repeat of the hodsock fiasco weatherwise.

A Tuesday or Thursday better for me - Wednesday afternoon is a bit frantic with child centred activities, which Mr. Bee can't manage alone.

A day out for forum members to meet in a safe place, and have a good look round a garden together. There have been a couple of snowdrop walks and a trip to bressingham .pseudonyms can be used.

I'm with you on that David...what trip? Where?

  • Ah, I see, fidget......I scrolled back to the beginning of this thread and couldn't see any reference to a trip.

I'll start a new thread, like I should have done in the first place.
