Peach curl

Hello I've got a dwarf nectarine in a large pot. Well protected from the elements in a sunny spot in a corner of my courtyard. Last year was its first year and it flowered but did not fruit. This year it flowered and I was most excited to see an extraordinary number of fruit forming. However it has now developed peach curl. I have removed the effected leaves. I have read elsewhere that I should take off the fruit, feed I, mulch under it and then " keep my fingers crossed for next year" My question is what can I do now to eliminate the fungus, if anything? I've never grown anything like this before so would welcome any suggestions from more experienced fruit growers. Many thanks
