Lifting daffodils

I need to lift some daffodils now. I hope to replant them later in the year and I would like to know how I should store them meantime

If you  put them into pots, water in, and pop them out the way somewhere, that's the easiest way as they're easy to put back into the places you want them. If not, put them into some reasonably decent spare ground.  Make sure you label them though! image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

If the foliage has completely dried off you can store the daffodils, but if the foliage is not completely, and I mean completely dried off you should replant the daffodils as they have not finished building themselves up for next year.

Thanks for the replies. I will plant them up into pots  in the meantime as I have no space anywhere in my small garden.
