Blueberries

I read somewhere recently that you need to grow two varieties of blueberries in order to get a crop.  I planted one in a pot last Summer in ericaceous compost and have given it a good feed of sequestrene but so far not a sign of a flower, even though it has put on lots of foliate growth and looks healthy.  Any advice gratefully received.

Thank you.

Hi Lorraine, it takes 2-3 years before you get a crop, unless you buy large potted plants which are already a couple of years old.  Great news that it's putting on lots of strong growth which is exactly what you want at this stage of its life. image

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
