OL, just because lots of people make the same mistake, doesn't stop it being a mistake
Unfortunately it does eventually make it correct, much to my annoyance. Eg "till" being used as the shortening of until!!! Nooooo , it's " 'til ". You find tills in shops!!! I went around ranting about it, whenever I saw it on a sign. And then they went and put it in the dictionary as it had become common usage

And since when did 'speck' become the short form of specification??? When I was a lass it was spec with a soft 'c'
people who say "o" in phone number, but not "0". IT'S NOT O , IT'S ZERO.!!!!
