My first year in the vegetable garden

BluebaronBluebaron Posts: 205

Well its the first spring in my new house and I have got the veg garden sorted out.

In the foreground are my potatoes, garlic and some rhubarb.

Next bed has more potatoes (yet to spout), beets and some space. Beyond that sunflowers, sweat peas and lettuce.

left has beans, some in some still in greenhouse, brussels, peas, radish, and parsnips.

At the back is my Raspberry patch and far left back black and red currants.

Still woking out out to net the raspberry patch as its quite large. I managed to net the peas and currants yesterday but a few holes so may lose a few!

Looking very good Bluebaron, my plot would not be as tidy as that.

  • That is one very impressive veg garden and one who a seasoned professional would be proud of.....I can see all the hard graft!

Very neat!  You have much to be proud of there and a lovely setting!!

  • This is my 4th or 5th year and your garden is 100 times better looking than mine.
