Propagating Cushion Chrysanthemums

Simple problem - I have one wonderful cushion mum which I got off the market last year, do not know the name.  How do I propagate from it?  I have tried to google this subject but I do not get anything definitive.  Can anyone help?  Thanks

    I think that there is a correct way to do it in the spring image but I find they divide really easily and if I break a piece off that they root really easily in water or gritty compost.
