Found this growing under one of my laurel trees. Anyone know what it is please?
Could it be from this tree over my fence, the leaves do look similar?
.... ish Can't really zoom in enough on the tree ..........
Looks like Cotoneaster
MrsGarden, I'm not sure, I think a nasty , but I always say if in doubt yank it out, put in a pot and see.
I think I agree with Mark- is the newest part of the stem fuzzy?
Edit: actually, I'm not sure- just ignore me
Cotoneaster Cornubia, perhaps.
Mrs Garden, does yours look like this?
It does Victoria and here are some close ups of the tree next door.
I was convinced mine was a cotoneaster until I ripped a leaf off it before to compare with another.
Mines a self seed so I might have a scout round the neighbourhood...
Although the way the flowers hang does look like the cornubia Hostafan just suggested...
