Insect leaf infection of peach/ nectarine tree

Could some one please tell me how to treat leaf infection of peach tree? What to do, how to do it and when to treat it? Thanks ????

    Hello. Do you have a photo of your problem leaves? There are lots of infections to think about!

    Apophthegm -  a big word for a small thought.

    this is what the leaves look like, think it's a nectarine or peach tree, but not sure, found it growing in garden and left it to see what happened. Thanks I would be grateful if you could tell me how to treat it, inherited the garden when we brought the house and have little gardening experience.

    It's a bit tricky to tell as the photo is a bit blurry, but it could be either aphid damage (look on the back of the leaves for them), in which case spray with soapy water or Peach Leaf Curl, which is very common but difficult to control:

    Fingers crossed it's just greenfly damage! image
