Hurry up Friday!

Count down to the weekend is on, and despite the frost forecast I can't wait to get in the garden!  Is anyone feeling chilly yet??

Yes, definitely chilly here, in NW - got my hot water bottle out again!  Can't wait to get in the garden again either, Tootles.   Hoping for a productive bank holiday weekend.    image

Got a Church family service and picnic in the vicarage garden on Sunday if its not too cold or wet! Will be out gardening on Saturday to ensure the garden is looking nice for the picnic. I really do need to spend the whole day out there - health and safety you know!

Partner is having a "Land Rover" day working on a mates truck on Saturday so I'm off to the museum I volunteer out to help sort out paperwork and varying levels of dust. Watch Saturday be the only good day we haveimage

I don't think its any colder here yet (10'C outside when I got home gone 23:00 last night) although it certainly is damper! What a cracking storm we had yesterday - first "proper" thunder and lightening I've seen for a while.

Hoping the weather wont be too bad on Sunday / Monday. We're at a bit of a stale mate as to what we can do in the garden before we spend any more money but I am rather tempted to very prematurely clear two flower beds (one will still be flowers, the other used for herbs) as respite from all the digging that's going on to create the vegetable garden! Eventually we're going to have diged all there is to dig in that patch! Then I get to dig the foundations and area for the new greenhouse.

I've been at a meeting at HO for 2 days Mike, thick fog (again) coming home on the M62 in West Yorkshire, not too bad at home though although a bit chilly, the GH didn't get above 30c today. Hope you're ok and I'll pass your best wishes in to the bride to be image X
