Drooping Birch Tree

Can anyone help?

We have a birch tree at the bottom of our garden, which was thriving and actually getting a bit big. A very reputable company came last year and pruned it back for us. Now this years growth is sprouting but the tree looks very droopy and the leaves are all edged with brown - looks like burns. We love this tree and dont want to loose it.

It may be wind burn, it has been very wet and windy and cold. So early autumning. You normally do not prune Birch. If you really have to it is normally done in late winter as sap is low and Birch bleeds sap readily and pruning often kills them.
