I have never had any success growing astrantia from seed,so I am going to chill in the fridge first to trick those pesky seeds. Any advice would be great.
I did have some outside but we haven't had a winter here. But the seeds might not be any good. I have some other seeds,so I thought I'd try this method.
The lack of winter was a bit of a setback to germination, I put all mine that had been waiting for winter into the fridge in the shed for about 6 weeks.
One of the paeonies germinated in the fridge and Aquileguia skinneri germinated yesterday after about a fortnight out of the fridge. There are several that haven't moved
