I have been known to round up a load of big snails and put them in the middle of the lawn with some bird food to attract the thrushes. Or I stamp on them.

I can't do stamping. I can't bear the crunch noise image

  • Seems like most of us don't get on with our neighbours. Mine go over the fence into the churchyard. Not had any complaints yet!

Builders yard next door. Bit of height that ends with a fatal sounding crunch.

I'm not guilty, don't have neighbours! But any snail I find is quickly trodden on. Especially the 5 caught eating my new clematis.

Maybe we should print this out and put it somewhere the snails can read it http://www.campaignforrealfarming.org/2012/01/mendip-wallfish-snails/ think that'd make them hot foot it to another garden!

I went past a restaurant the other day which had English Snails on the menu!!!

If they're going to come 'home' anyway what's the harm?  We all love going on holiday don't we and air travel adds to the excitement. image
