Rosemary, gives a lovely fresh smell when left in  the oven after you have finished or put in boiling water and leave on  shelf out the way of little hands ,or use make as a disinfectant .

I was once told my house smelled lovely - "just like a lovely meal" - it was because of all the garlic in bowls in the kitchen and in pans on the cooker image

A friend grew loads and loads of different types of lavender, and there were always bunches of dried lavender hanging up in her home, as well as bowls of the dried flower heads.  She said it made dusting difficult, but the house always smelled of lavender so visitors thought it was all freshly polished - mind over matter image

I grow a scented leaf geranium indoors and every time it is brushed against it releases a lemony scent. I have noticed that if I hoover up the old leaves the smell comes out of the vacuum cleaner too!

Hello , the usual as already mentioned , rosemary never tried growing indoors worth a try , anybody had a go ? Also what about a Curry plant and Thyme ?

tried growing lavender indoors , with a special indoor plant but didn't work , so dried lavender is best

    Best of luck image
