As there are several stems from each, and the bulbs are elongated, I would suggest that they are some sort of shallot.
Looks like that to me too.
Welsh onions!! I suspect. They are very useful as they keep growing all through the winter. They are perennial.
PS they are allium nepal (not absolutely sure about the spelling) rather than allium cymru!
How often have you had the opportunity to ID Welsh Onions around here, Welshonion?
