Leaning tree in our garden...
Hi, Having a problem with this monster of a tree in our garden. It leans now after the strong winds a few months ago. No Idea how I should make it straight again, or is it doomed? Some pictures of it uploaded to photobucket... http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x93/mrharrod/E4840CB7-3005-46BB-8600-2BF09AA8086F_zps2s220gqj.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x93/mrharrod/C0E208FD-2F65-4D77-B189-3775280EB9B0_zpscbh5hk6a.jpg

I think I'd have that felled. Even if you straightened it up you'd need steel cables, a winch and really strong pegs fixed into the ground - it's a professional job. If you attempt a DIY job and it blows down in the next gale you could be responsible for any damage or injury.
Get a tree surgeon in to fell the tree and grind out the stump, replenish the soil and plant a tree or shrub more appropriate to that spot.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I have emailed a tree surgeon to see. Failing that, I'll saw it down.
I would get quotes from 3 tree experts and make sure they have proper qualifications; there are a lot of cowboys around
