FIDDLE LEAF FIG

Hi All!

I am having problems with my fiddle leaf fig. It is indoors, in a bright position but not direct sunlight. It was loosing it's leaves so I began to water a little bit more, however, there is quite a lot of brown patches on the leaves... they are also very thin and floppy (I'm unsure as to whether this is normal?).

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!!

I think it may be over-watered - try letting the compost dry out between waterings - however the leaves need to be misted to maintain humidity around the plant..

Thank you, I do spray the leaves occasionally. I really take care of it, that's why I have no idea why it's going brown! The compost seems quite dry.

    Cheers

Has it been a bit chilly where it is?  They don't like it to drop below 10C.

No, it's been kept indoors. No lower than about 18c. :-/.

I have moved this plant now... and watered more... I think it was underwatered as the leaves were slightly brown and crispy on the edges... it seems to be doing much better now!!!
