Cypress?

I have a East facing rear garden with a Cypress near a wall, the Cypress is approx. 7 foot tall but very spindley looking, has lots of dead splines.

What can I do to get it back into condition.

    I'd say that is beyond repair, dig it out and plant something more suitable in place. If you do dig it out, then refresh the soil with plenty of well rotted compost/manure.

    Yes, it's probably got a fungal infection and not worth saving - imagesorry
