Camelia Blossom

I have a pink Camelia which are at the bud showing colour stage and some of the buds are dropping off before fully opening can any one help. Thank you in advance

    I know it's hard to believe after all the wet weather we've had, but camellias do shield their roots from rain  and they can get very dry - could it need watering?

    Also, having checked the RHS website, they suggest that as well as under-watering, over feeding or feeding too late in the previous season can cause bud drop - they recommend not feeding camellias later than July.

    Thank you i wondered if it could be dry roots as it is in a shelterd corner the leaves are healthy and green.
