Chaenomeles, aka flowering quince or something like that. I love those but they never do well for me

nut, I have the Apricot colour and the white, both growing in heavy clay, but root ball surrounded by a little compost and fish, blood and bone; both in a fair bit of sun.
I'll have to have another try, I'd really like one
