    Chaenomeles, aka flowering quince or something like that. I love those but they never do well for me

    I found two in my garden but both very spindly and not many flowers on one. At least I know what it is now!

    That's very precise Edd.

    Any idea what I could do to increase my chances of growing one. I'd really like one of the pale apricot/pinky/whitish sort

    nut, I have the Apricot colour and the white, both growing in heavy clay, but root ball surrounded by a little compost and fish, blood and bone; both in a fair bit of sun.image
