Weed/Moss killer
With the wet weather we have been experiencing, my lawn is suffering more and more from moss. We have a lot of birds visit the garden and are concerned that weed killer may cause them harm. I contacted one of the manufacturers but received a vague answer concerning the threat to birdlife from their product.
Most products say to keep pets off the lawn until dry but pets do not feed from the ground. Does anybody know if weed killer can harm birds even when the lawn has dried?

There is a product called MO Bacter which is organic, they trialled it on Beechgrove Garden, I can't remember what the outcome was. Here is a link; http://www.pitchcare.com/shop/viano-fertilisers/mo-bacter-7-5kg-bag.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=google_shopping&gclid=CNONh4y2sr0CFcfKtAodJFoANw
Hi Edd and Fleurisa
Many thanks for the info; I'll have a look at both products.

Don't talk to me about products! My garden is in Denmark, which is a country that has a large focus on an environmentally friendly lifestyle. This is in many ways good. But, when it comes to lawns, it's really frustrating also. There are basically no products that deliver the same results that I know my friends and family get back home in England. But tirelessly I persevere to cultivate my very English looking, beautifully striped lawn, to which my Danish neighbors laugh or raise a smile and think how very English! Why, the stripes!
Needless to say I proud of my English lawns in Denmark
