That looks like pulsatilla vulgaris alba to me? Are these in your garden? Because I'm so jealous!
I have never heard of Pulsatilla Vulgaris, no I saw them out in Petts wood in Kent over the weekend
I have googled Pulsatilla Vulgaris and been on the RHS, I don't think it is Pulsatilla Vulgaris, it looked more like a type of ranunculus to me but I am no expert....

Indeed, Its part of the Ranunculaceae family which is why I thought it might be a ranunculus of some variety

Definitely wood anemone
The leaves of pasque flowers are quite different
