My Garlic crop was a disaster last year, not one come up. All other veg in my veg patch was brilliant (potatoes, shallots, onions, leeks, peas, etc) Is there anything I need to do when planting this year?

I have had some rot off this year, but I put in another lot last week and some are showing now. Maybe mice had them, I know two of my early ones moved 30ft, so mice could be the culprits.
Thanks, will put some in and hope for the best.
Try starting them off in modules first and then transplanting to the plot once they have established roots. I did this and it worked really well.
Will do, i do this with peas as the birds and mice like them too
